Our story began in 1976, when I started working at the Printing House in the town of Gabrovo, central Bulgaria. There I learned everything about the printing of textile labels and discovered my passion for this business. My dream was to run my own printing house, where I could apply my knowledge with passion and enthusiasm in order to make it grow.

With the fall of Communism in 1989, I was finally allowed to pursue my dream and in the same year I established Signal, the first privately held company for printing textile labels in Bulgaria. At that time the company was based in a small rented room consisting of four devoted members of staff. We used basic technology methods such as screen-printing each label individually. Our motto was “Signal takes your products out of anonymity”.

We dedicated the years that followed to building our reputation and establishing long-lasting relationships with our clients. We achieved it by giving them personal attention, listening to them and exceeding their expectations. Our devotion yielded rewarding results - we expanded and moved to new premises in 1995.

There are several other factors that made us what we are today, a market leader in Bulgaria and a respected textile label manufacturer in Europe. We constantly upgrade our machine park, we have been a successful exhibitor at Heimtextil Fair since 2006.

Today we are privileged to work with over 700 customers of various sizes from over 30 countries worldwide. Our clients include recognized manufacturers from the garment, shoe and home textile industry. Since our founding in 1989 we have produced over 1 billion labels for different industries.
I am happy to share my passion and business knowledge with my two children. At present Signal is being managed with competence and enthusiasm by me, my son and my daughter.

Our staff is the heart and soul of this company. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such professionals, who share my passion and vision for the business.
